The Highland Stage Company provides an opportunity for students,
teachers and chaperones to experience a day in the life of the
pioneers. Dressing the part, rationing water and eating simple
foods they have dried and preserved makes the experience even more
memorable.

Students learn co-operation and a sense of accomplishment,
boosting their self esteem as they alternate between riding the wagons
and walking the 12 mile journey.
