The Overland Stagecoach Run
Have you ever been in a
stagecoach? Well, you don't know what you're missing! Come on!
Jump aboard!
Our overland stage run is an exciting 5 day, western
adventure featuring an authentic stagecoach drawn by 6 Highland Bay Horses
through the beautiful Okanogan Highlands of North Central Washington. The HSC
brings the "Olde West" alive with this memorable vacation package as
we retrace the historic Chesaw/ Republic stage route.

Enroute, we'll visit trout filled high mountain
lakes and streams, abundant wildlife, historic ghost towns, abandoned crystal
mines, and a restored 1890's stage stop. Three hearty "trail fare"
meals, nightly campfire entertainment and fun filled frontier adventures greet
the pioneer travelers daily. We'll camp each night, enjoy the richness of Dutch
Oven cuisine and explore our western heritage in song and verse.
Scheduled stops include: Lost Lake, Bonaparte Lake Resort, Old
Sheridan Stage Stop, Old Sheridan Ghost Town, Strawberry Rose Quartz
Crystal Mine, West Fork of Trout Creek, and the Old West Town of
Republic, Washington.

Camp cooking is primarily done in a cast iron Dutch Oven. From
cornbread to lasagna, you can smell it cooking and eat your fill.
Guests may assist and learn this Dutch Oven craft. We encourage
campers to participate in a total camping experience.
Enroute, the "chuck wagon" will satisfy your mid-day
meal, while at night, camp cooking is done by the nightly campfire.
You can sleep under the stars, in an outfitters tent with a stove, a
tepee or in our outfitter tents. Sleeping bags may be rented.
